This style is a hatinator; a hatinator is a hybrid of a hat & fascinator. The hatinator is secured on your head by a thin headband. Typically a hatinator "base" will have a shallow crown, hence the reason for a headband to securely keep it on your head. A hatinator will give you the illusion of a hat with the comfort of a fascinator!
